Notice to Mariners - Marine Survey Operations

Please be advised that Osiris Projects will be carrying out marine survey operations, on behalf of Navitus Bay Development Ltd, on the export cable routes for the proposed Navitus Bay offshore wind park.

Survey operations will commence on the 27th February 2013 and continue for approximately five days subject to any weather delays. Inshore survey works will be undertaken on MV Pulsar with details below.

The inshore extent of the site being centred on 50°43.76'N 01°38.58'W.

MV Pulsar will be towing underwater sensors up to 50m astern of the vessel and will be restricted in the ability to manoeuvre. It is requested that all vessels operating within this area keep their distance and pass at minimum speed to reduce vessel wash. Survey operations will be conducted during daylight hours only. Pulsar will display appropriate day shapes and lights (during reduced visibility and work in the dark).
