Post Public Exhibitions

After eight exhibitions across Dorset and Hampshire, our team is happy with progress. Over two weeks in early February we met nearly 2,000 people, answering their questions and showing how our plans have changed as a result of feedback received.

At the last exhibitions in early 2012, people told us that they wanted to better understand what the wind park might look like so this time we brought updated photomontages and a digital 3D computer model. This meant the community were able to see what the development might look like from different points along the coast.

After all the preparation it was great to see such a good turnout and how well the additional information was received. We are beginning to log the feedback forms received but hope people remember that the consultation period stays open until April 5^th – there is still time to complete a form online or pick up hard copies from a nearby public library.
