Phase Three Consultation
Phase Three started on Friday 1 February and ended on Friday 5 April 2013.
A range of consultation materials were produced:
- A Community Consultation Document (CCD), which includes a summary of feedback received from Phase One and Phase Two, detailed description of Navitus Bay’s plans – including offshore and onshore elements.
- A book of visuals showing how the wind park and onshore substation could look.
- A comments form.
As part of the consultation process, we held a series of public exhibitions at eight locations across the region. Phase Three consultation materials were made available at the exhibition events both in paper format and on CD. To allow those who were not able to attend the exhibitions to still take part in the consultation, copies of the consultation materials were made available to collect from a number of libraries around the south coast.
Phase Three Consultation Visuals
These viewpoints were all selected in consultation with local councils and other stakeholders on the basis that they have open views towards the wind park and are popular destinations for local residents and visitors alike. From each viewpoint there are three layouts: the first shows a scheme with only 5MW turbines, the second shows one with only 8MW turbines and the third shows a scheme with a mixture of 5MW, 6MW and 8 MW turbines.
